DMA: Diversity and Equal Opportunity

Detour Gold values the diverse experiences and perspectives of our employees and commits to providing them a safe and respectful work environment, free from discrimination, and characterized by openness, diversity and equal opportunity.

Our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and our Harassment and Discrimination Policy spell out our commitments. A harassment and discrimination reporting and investigation procedure is in place, with confidentiality assured, as we believe that every employee, contractor, consultant and visitor is entitled to a working environment that promotes dignity and respect. Respect is a core value for us and we are committed to providing a work environment where human rights are protected. Employees are encouraged to report any violations and all reports will be investigated.

Our recruitment process offers equal opportunity to all who apply and our workforce reflects the community in which we operate. With operations located in the traditional territory of several Aboriginal communities, we are especially mindful of recruiting and hiring Aboriginal employees and creating conditions where they can flourish.
